The Division provides campus-wide leadership for undergraduate education and administers faculty and student programs that support and assess excellence in teaching and learning.
The Division's policy, planning and programmatic mission is to:
- Encourage innovation, discovery, and academic
enrichment in the undergraduate curriculum
- Promote and recognize faculty achievement
in teaching and mentoring
- Enhance students' academic success
- Foster academic programs and services in support
of diversity.
- Develop policy recommendations related to
undergraduate education and to the teaching
mission of the campus
- Partner with the Academic Senate on enhancing
and ensuring the quality of education
- Oversee multi-college and campus-wide programs
- Integrate and advance the use of educational
technology
